Day 7: The Lord is my light

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalms 27:1

I wanted to share this verse today as it is one of my favorite passages to read. It is a reminder whenever I am afraid, undecided, weak, and more. God is my light, and He is my strength. Amen.

Please enjoy the song below by the young and talented Walls Group.

Much love.

P.S.: I was nominated by a dear friend for a challenge to share a Bible verse everyday for 7 days. I hope that this post blesses you.

  1. Hi Joy 🙂 Beautiful message and a much needed reminder for me as of late. I need to give you the heads up that I tried to listen to the song but its saying the video is no longer available. That’s being said I will go check it out because it can’t be the only one 🙂 Thanks for the reminder today and it was nice reconnecting with you 🙂 God bless ❤

    1. Thanks for reading Cavelle, and thanks for the heads up. Yes, I notice with older posts sometimes the video is taken down from the YouTube channel. I will find a working link and update the post. Thanks again for stopping by here and God bless.

    2. Hey Cavelle, the link actually works on my end. It may be a country restriction then. The song is “Praise goes to You” by The Walls Group. You may be able to find a different link that works. If not, no worries. The song is available on iTunes and I think on Amazon as well. You can also listen to them on Pandora (or Spotify).
