These California wildfires though.
Is there anyone besides me who believes there might be a more effective way to get these fires under control? (Show of hands, please.) I mean – we have the records of what times of year these fires typically occur. We know the weather forecast histories for previous wildfires. These things are in the news all the time.
I vote maybe spraying down those areas beforehand, at least once a week, with some kind of flame retardant mix. Agreed, we cannot control nature. But we can prepare for fires the way we prepare for snow season. If we act once weather conditions begin to approach those dangerous fire-crackling ranges, we may be able to reduce the scale of the fires.
Is it worth a try? I don’t know, ask the Californians. They’re the ones who have to deal with droughts and fires just about all the time.
