Just an old page I thought I’d revamp. This is a shortlist of what makes my world go round. Blogroll style adapted from Tambaya!

1 Samuel 17: My favorite Bible story. I love David’s courage and I keep finding that there are new lessons to learn from this story.

CeCe Winans: I love a lot of music by a lot of different people but this woman of God has made the singular, most indelible impression on me.

Chimamanda Adichie: I have not read any of her books yet – though I did get started on Half of A Yellow Sun – but I have seen a few excerpts and I love the way she preserves the African essence in her work.

Church at Chapel Hill’s messages: These messages are just really powerful. I watch when I can.

Joyce Meyer: She’s got a truly big heart for the world. Plus, who doesn’t love freebies? Go get your free copy of the Enjoying Everyday Life magazine.

KerryShook: The resources on this site have helped me greatly in my faith walk!

Let’s Move: I just love First Lady Michelle Obama’s initiative and involvement with helping children eat healthy and stay active. Love her sense of style too!

Max Lucado, Ted Dekker, Francine Rivers and Tess Gerritsen: Officially my favorite authors.

Mia Michaels: To say the least, Mia is like dance inspiration personified. Check out some of my YouTube favorites.

Michael Hyatt: I want to be like him when I grow up. This is some powerful influence right here.

P4CM: Awesome poetry and spoken word.

Pentatonix, Voctave: My dose of inspiration when I need to get back up.

Poets & Writers: Awesome resource for creative writers.

Tambaya! This blog is by a friend of a friend whom I came across on Facebook. Worth checking out.

Teju Cole: I was looking through my Twitter feed the other day, when I saw that a friend had followed @tejucole. My curious self decided to check out this user and he is pretty awesome at what he does!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show: 100% hilarity.

To Don’t List: A top-rated blog I found a while back on Loved the concept, each post was a nifty little “to-don’t” but the blog seems to have gone away 😦
